Face masks have been a part of our lives for nearly a year already since the pandemic began. Health officials say they're the simplest way to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
But now, Claros Technologies — a spinoff from the University of Minnesota — has developed a mask it says is capable of killing the virus.

FWIW
Have at it.
Bump
I’ll check back tomorrow. I have GOT to get some sleep.
Is there a stock listing for this company?
It has three layers. Will that satisfy Fauci? Or do you need three separate masks, each with three layers?
I’m skeptical about the mask stopping submicron particles and still being porous enough to breath through with ease. The tighter the mesh to catch very fine particles, the harder it is to pass air through the mask.
This sounds like something Mr. Haney on TV comedy Green Acres would try to sell Oliver Douglas; the lawyer-turned Farmer. As always, what ever he sold would not work,
.. so Mr. Haney would return the next week to sell Oliver something else. “This is what ah shoulda sold you the first time! It just came in from France!”
Interesting.
Brass kills microbes, but I thought it ws the copper, not the zinc.
Silver is also used in bandages to kill bugs.
When I wear a N95 mask for a one hour tai chi class, my oxygen drops from 98 to 93. I believe if your oxygen drops below 90, you need to head to the hospital. Ii think masks are dangerous. Fauci claiming it's common sense that two masks are better than one is reckless.
and Maggie Curie walked around with chunks of radioactive rocks, cure all baby.
I’d rather give $10,000 to that old Nigerian prince and take my chances.
there have been several masks that could kill the virus- one i beleive from israel, made with two metals in the mesh that kill the virus suppsoedly- the masks cost around $50 apiece
just an FYI- colgate total mouthwash has cetylpyridinium chloridein it that kills the virus in 30 seconds, and lasts for around 6 hours or so even if you eat or drink something
not a bad idea to take along a little bottle of it to rinse mouth out before heading into a crowded store or room or something- only problem is the eyes and nose will still be areas the virus ‘could take hold’ and enter system- but meh- whatever- virus is 99.6% survivable- so whatever- but just incase folks wanted to know abotu hte mouthwash
A mask with zinc in it.
“zinc, don’t forget the zinc” said President Trump.

They sell masks with copper woven in them at Home Depot.
I got us these Broad Airpro Hepa13 rechargeable masks with replaceable
parts. As long as he pauses for a moment between breaths, he’s good.
I even added the proper titanium alloy screening, and a USB powered
UV-C LED to add photo-catalytic pre-filtering to one... ;-)

Viruses are not alive. Advertising that your device can kill viruses undercuts any confidence one could have in your device. You can’t kill something that is not alive.

This company has a better claim with the wording of
this grant than others jumping on the covid bandwagon.
Some of the BB stocks are now in SEC restraints from the mere mention of “covid” hype.
If you are referring to me, or the masks I found for my Dad and I,
please point out the virus killing claims you are talking about?
That said, destroying a virus ability to reproduce itself by destroying its DNA with UVC irradiation, or hydrogen peroxide ions, or copper, or silver or
brass, could be interpreted as “killing” the virus.
Unless grammar is more important than health. ;-)
