This bill makes various changes to the federal framework governing the sale, transfer, and possession of firearms and ammunition. Among other things, the bill does the following:
generally requires individuals to obtain a license to purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm or ammunition;
raises the minimum age—from 18 years to 21 years—to purchase firearms and ammunition;
establishes new background check requirements for firearm transfers between private parties;
requires law enforcement agencies to be notified following a firearms-related background check that results in a denial;
creates a statutory process for a family or household member to petition a court for an extreme risk protection order to remove firearms from an individual who poses a risk of committing violence; restricts the import, sale, manufacture, transfer, or possession of semiautomatic assault weapons and large capacity ammunition feeding devices;
restricts the manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, or receipt of ghost guns (i.e., guns without serial numbers);
makes trafficking in firearms a stand-alone criminal offense;
requires federally licensed gun dealers to submit and annually certify compliance with a security plan to detect and deter firearm theft;
removes limitations on the civil liability of gun manufacturers;
allows the Consumer Product Safety Commission to issue safety standards for firearms and firearm components;
establishes a community violence intervention grant program; and promotes research on firearms safety and gun violence prevention.

So, it basically eliminates the second amendment.
...generally requires individuals to obtain a license to purchase, acquire, or possess a firearm...
The DemonRat party is a communist terrorist party!
The claim: H.R. 5717 would implement a 30% tax on all gun sales and 50% tax on all ammunition sales
Fact checked true

About all of these requirements are already in place here in Illinois. They treat us with our FOID like a drivers license politicians think it is a privilege to be revoked at will and not a right. I can’t believe they have not deemed the FOID unconstitutional.
Isn’t this bill a year old?
Yes, this is what is on deck right now... Again...
Well, folks, here is your “Concord Bill”!
Licenses, Snitching on your neighbor, Snitching on your gun collecting family members, and red flag door knocks.
It died, but is rising from the dead.
12/31/2020 died
Watch for it to be attached to the new Covid Bill.
“Snitching on your neighbor, snitching on your gun collecting family members, and red flag door knocks.”
In other words, everyone is transformed into a government informant. The atomization of society that began with Covid will thus be made complete.
Hello East Germany, hello Stasi!
BTW, for each Stasi agent, there were at least five informants.
This bill is sponsored by Hank “Guam will tip over” Johnson.
HR 127 sponsored by Sheila Jackson “I am a queen and I demand to be treated like a queen!!!” Lee.
Do all of these whackadoodle gun bills emanate from the Congressional Black Caucus?
Yes, and they really mean, “too many whities have too many guns”.
Manchin and Senima(?) already said if the RATS attached Gun Controls or Green New Deal to the COVID Bill they would not vote for the COVID package. Both, would lose their asses in the primary if they voted for any gun controls. A State can be Blue and still be a strong 2nd Amendment State, like AZ. Manchin is popular in West Virginia because he is a pro-gun RAT. If he voted for gun controls like this he would be toast, could even face recall. West VA is a Red State and he knows it. However, I could see them voting for a watered down version that taxed all new purchases and required anyone purchasing a gun after i.e. 1 Jan 2022, have a FOID type card. I could see them even voting for an Illinois type Federal FOID card. It is a trick, FOID registers you as a gun owner and tracks your ammo purchases, thus the State knows what gun or guns you own by your ammo purchases. They are just going to create the biggest black market for guns and ammo in the world. Ghost guns may be illegal, but it is a ghost, prove I have one. That is where we will be headed. Ghost guns shipped from Afghanistan and the Philippines via the current drug routes. Probably, end up being the third biggest black market item after drugs and sex trafficking.
