This may well be a start of vaccination requirements for cruisers to get onboard the larger cruise ships of Carnival-Royal Caribbean- Norwegian and MSC cruise lines.

"The first to announce a passenger vaccine requirement was a U.K. line, Saga, which requires proof of the two-dose vaccine at least 14 days before boarding the ship, effective May 4."

I expect the BIDEN group and his newly appointed CDC head to keep the pressure on the Cruise lines to diminish their passengers.-Tom

Can the cruise companies be sued for enforced compliance?

No freakin way.

Here we go with our patches.

Except the good people get patches. No patch, no service.

I loved our honeymoon on the American Queen.

Thank you for referencing that article Capt. Tom. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

The COVID-19 vaccine isn’t guaranteeing that people won’t get infected by the virus. The first generation (my term) of the vaccine is only claimed to help keep people out of ICUs should they get infected by the virus.

In fact, neither is the vaccine claimed to stop victims from being contagious. That’s why experts are saying to continue wearing politically correct (imo) masks and social distancing even after you get vaccine.

So conceptually, everybody getting off a ship can be contagious with COVID-19 regardless of vaccine, and infect people who haven't had vaccine or aren't taking vitamin D3.

In the meanwhile, I'll continue to take vitamin D3 dietary supplement and eat foods containing zinc.

COVID-19: Fauci says he takes vitamin D and C supplements to reduce his 'susceptibility to infection' (9-13-20)

Corrections, insights welcome.

Well that might be the end of a lot of cruise companies. People will only do so much.

Scientists Predict Humans Will Simply Be Giant Rolling Balls Of Masks By 2024
The Babylon Bee ^ | Feb 1,2021
Posted on 2/2/2021, 11:12:32 AM by metmom

U.S.—Experts are now predicting that humans will make a giant evolutionary leap forward in the next few years, moving from walking around on two legs to rolling around in a giant ball of masks, thanks to ever-evolving mask guidelines.

“At the current rate of mask growth, humans will evolve to just be rolling around in a giant ball of them within three years,” said evolutionary biologist Bob Carson III. “As the mask arms race accelerates, we’re already seeing humans wearing three, four, five, six, even seven masks. Projecting that rate out, assuming logarithmic growth — let’s see, carry the one... yep. We’re all just gonna be big mask blobs.”

Scientists believe humans’ legs will slowly begin to atrophy as they no longer use them to walk around, as they’ll be able to roll in the mask balls. Freeways will be converted into fun slides where you can just roll to work, and doors will be turned into Hobbit hole-style round entryways so you can just roll on into the office when office buildings open up again in a few years.

One competing study is challenging the idea that humans will be rolling around in a ball of masks and instead found that the entire earth will just be a big ball of masks hurtling around the solar system and smothering all human life within.

This probably will effect local riverboats like the one in Chattanooga on the Tennessee River...The 2-3 hour tours...

I like to do the special Fall trips when the leaves are changing...

The scenery is beautiful at that time...

If I had tickets for a cruise, I would tell them that currently, no vaccines are approved against COVID-19. Emergency Use Authorization is not the same thing as a regulatory approval.

“requires proof of the two-dose vaccine”

I can understand that requirement. The cruise lines have probably interviewed potential passengers and found that that’s the most viable way to get people to come on the ships.

Some of those ships pack in 5000 people!

Already at our limit on restrictions. Any company that implements these requirements will not receive our business.

If this means my wife and I are living in a lean-to on a mountainside and hunting squirrel for dinner in six months, so be it.

This may not be the mark of the beast but we are on that path...in a Lamborghini...with no brakes
