Federal authorities identified an Ohio man as a Capitol invader by merely looking at the name and number on the jacket he was wearing while storming the Capitol and kicking in a window. As a result, Troy Faulkner, 39, now faces several federal charges.
The FBI said that it saw Faulkner on a YouTube video kicking in a Capitol window. But before that happened, the defendant was facing away from the camera and his jacket was exposed. This was important because that was a jacket identifying his painting business:

It would have been as easy to locate and arrest the violent criminals in blm and antifa for their part in the summer riots. Wondering why that never happened. Hmmmmm.

99% of the people who went to DC that day weren’t going for an “insurrection”. They wanted to show their support for Trump during his rally and to make a show of protest for the ratification of electors without a significant and substantial review of the individual state’s voting “irregularities”.
Even the people who followed inside (although they should have thought better of it) were waving flags and going straight through and probably just thought of it as a a show of protest. But even still, they were wearing identifiable gear because they aren’t professional domestic terrorists like Antifa. They don’t pre-plan their criminal destruction and on America.
Voting doesn’t seem to work any more.
Some people staged a protest in Washington and a government employee killed one of the protesters. That seems to have convinced everyone is the country that the protesters were violent thugs who somehow deserve to be put down like dogs.
If someone on our side goes so far as to break a window we say “Tsk tsk tsk. That’s no way to behave. Now no one will like us.”
I think our situation is fairly hopeless.
To clarify, I wasn’t suggesting the Jan 06 people did a “criminal destruction of America”. That is what Antifa did in a guerilla siege for many many months in 2020. That’s my point. This was all just supposed to be a first amendment demonstration.

Exactly. I grew up with communist parents. Taking the moral high ground with the left only results in your getting your teeth kicked in.
So many people, even on this forum, are going to be polite as they are loaded into the cattle cars.

The RATs are definitely going for permanent one party rule. We have 3 choices. Succession, Civil War or Article V. I go with Article V. For any FUD posts in response : what part of nothing left to lose don't you understand?
I would love to see Article V. I think it’s a shame there is no grassroots effort to work up exactly what the convention should be aiming for.
