Thanks to you and A in I - I have an acre. Should be able to find a suitable spot to grow things soon. Probably some green peppers too, since I like them.

Funny, as a kid, we always had a substantial garden in the back yard, but I’ve never really done any gardening myself. Probably should start small though.

I can’t even stand the small of them but always grow some for my daughter. I hate cucumbers but love pickles. The only thing I have found is that they will mildew pretty bad during times of a lot of rain and we get a lot of rain in S.E. TN. Some people plant them on hills and spread straw to keep them from lying in mud. It doesn’t seem to hurt the cucumbers to be wet but the leaves mildew. I can’t even say for sure it’s the wet conditions because I don’t like them enough to care. LOL I can’t pick them fast enough here even with the dying leaves and what she can’t eat I give away.

(Thank you Diana!)

Right now she has a section on growing your seedlings under lights!

Before you start, prepare for animals...remember to get fencing up first. Deer, Rabbits, racoons, possum, squirrels, chipmunks.

Good luck!
