The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

This is one of my all time favorite quotes, and I work in a tech area where it is very apropos. I have a coffee mug with this quote and a program emblem sitting on my desk, so it sort of screamed out to me :)

Arrrgghhh! I spent over seventeen minutes on it during “work” and almost gave up, then came back after 6:00 PM and got it in less than two minutes. Probably because I had a clear conscience.
