Saturday Night Live completely avoided parodying Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in its first episode since the pair were sworn into office.
Hosted by John Krasinki, the first SNL of 2021 managed to not feature either the president or vice president in its skits.
Instead it featured special 'appearances' from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mark Zuckerberg and Tom Brady.
The move was blasted online by some viewers who described the show as a 'snoozefest' which is 'too scared of getting canceled'.

Yup, Norm was and is funny as hell.
Unless you're Jay Leno. He was liberal but that did not stop him from making jokes about Bill Clinton.
They have had skits of dems before. They will develop typical softball skits for Biden and Harris.
In 1972 I knew someone whose classmate the year before in college went on a Michigan State University trip to the Soviet Union. A guy in their Russian language majors tour group painted a black moustache on a public poster of Lenin and was seen and quickly caught and arrested. Took a lot of trouble for MSU and lawyers to get him the chance to go home. How could he think all countries are as easygoing as the US?
One FReeper proposed to mock Obama by making fun of his wife. I think that's the best way to do it.
Simply replay a you tube video of his latest gaffe. Also, can run a few Kamala tapes from last year, both would be sure to generate laughs, and would not be made up!

IIRC it was the President of NBC Sports West Coast who was good friends with OJ. That got Norm fired. Plans were in work at that time to have the real Burt Reynolds come on SNL in a “Celebrity Jeopardy” sketch playing a dumber Burt. Norm getting fired stopped that from happening. No idea why they couldn’t have done it when Norm was allowed to come back. Burt may not have been available by then.

I would include skits of Willie Brown and Kamala Harris, you know, the pimp and his shore.

The Democrat Party runs the media and their execs are literally in bed with prominent members of the Obama administration.

I ‘cancelled’ SNL in the 80’s post-Eddie Murphy and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It’s been unwatchable since then, and certainly NOTHING like the original cast, which was the best, hands down.
And, JL-D wasn’t even FUNNY until she showed up later as ‘Elaine.’
