When I worked Security at a plant, some of the machines made sounds that I could have sampled and turned into some interesting music.
Reminds me of Talking Heads liner notes about aliens thinking that factories made music. No music on Sunday.

Reminds me of a “spontaneous” marching band cadence the drum section came up with one boring Saturday full of high school marching band practice.
The boring briefly became fun ... that is, until the band director made them stop. Oh well ... thanks for the memory!
