Was he pulled over for driving too slow? The Scottsdale/Phoenix area is notorious four this type of speed.
But was he wearing three masks?

It was because because of Global Warming!
Road was empty in the video. 4-lane divided highway, long and straight and flat. Dry conditions. Not seeing recklessness.
Based on the traffic cam video, it doesn’t seem like he was going that fast.
Gosh, let me see what self-incriminating videos I can post on the internet today!
Well, look on the bright side - where you are going you will not be able to bust yourself online again for a good long time.
That *MIGHT* have been 80mph. MAYBE. No bloody way that was 119.
How many cup holders did he have?
That was an absolute blast of a movie. The Jaguar never making it out of the garage was classic.
When I was 17 I got pulled over for 119 in a 35. I was driving my oldest brother’s 1967 Camaro SS. It took the cop two miles to catch up with me (I didn’t make him chase me).
He wrote me up for 19 over so I wouldn’t be charged with reckless driving. It cost me $70 which was a lot back then.
1967 Camaro SS can see driving over 100.
Toyota Celica over 100 seems suicidal.
That *MIGHT* have been 80mph. MAYBE. No bloody way that was 119.

He needs to reach 88 MPH for the flux capacitor to activate the time travel circuits.
People have a difficult time judging distances and speed beyond what they are capable of walking/throwing/asf themselves. When I was in the Army, they had to train us to estimate distances over 100 yards. Speed is distance over time; if one hasn’t got a good measure of distance, one can’t reliably estimate speed. Worse, our sense of time is highly subjective, making our sense of speed even less reliable. This is the cause of many traffic accidents, especially ones involving rear-end collisions.
It is worse for many animals. They literally cannot comprehend something moving faster than they can. That is involved in many cases of road kill.
I’ve built several celicas capable of 130+.
Rwd ones.. but the jdm spec gt4 will do 165 without a problem.
Similar experience in my 90 Mustang.
Have been over 100 in a handful of vehicles, the most dangerous being my 71 Maverick. That was near suicide.
But each time, on the freeway, away from traffic.
I can send I’ll remember a brand new patch of I-35 coming into the heart of Kansas City from the south. The first week it was open it was empty late at night and smooth as glass — especially in my new sports car...
“I can still remember “ was what I meant to type. Between chemo dead nerves and apple spell check my posts are often screwed up.
