My opinion on this is that Elon is being pressured to ‘bend the knee’

In order for SpaceX to keep doing business in the US, he will have to make a few changes.
1) Frequent large donations to the DNC.
2) No public statements that haven’t been cleared by a DNC censor. (No badmouthing any policies of the regime, or support of conservative causes)
3) Any official claims (e.g. election fraud has been completely debunked, or ridiculous COVID19 policies) must be accepted without question, and publicly repeated on demand.

If he doesn’t bend the knee - no future SpaceX launches will be permitted.
