I went to Cabela’s (Bass pro) yesterday with a friend and they wanted me to scan a QR code with my phone before I was even ALLOWED to the counter.
I didn’t comply. I don’t have a QR code reader on my phone. After some grousing they let me at the counter but I couldn’t touch any firearm because I didn’t comply with their demand to scan the QR code.
Amazed how many people complied and went out of their way to download apps and futz with them until the sales idiot allowed them to approach the counter and be sold firearms at a huge markup.
Would even let me touch the black powder.
Ok I’m dense.
What does scanning a QR code do for the retailer?
Why are they asking this?
I think BassPro/Cabela’s are exorbitant in their pricing of everything FWIW.
Maybe it is time for Patriots to suddenly experience o uncontrollable spasms and seizures while trying to navigate the aisles of these fascist retailers. In the process shelf items and displays may be disturbed or damaged, of course it’s all unintentional.
Was that at the Hamburg Cabelas?
If so, I may never buy another gun there again.
Read that they are doing Form 4473’s for black powder purchases!
