Just today, an employee of mine has been told he cannot take possession of a firearm he wished to purchase until NICS gives a proceed response.
He made the purchase at Sportsman's Warehouse, here in Flagstaff on Friday, the 22nd, and there has still been no response from the FBI. A manager laughed at him and informed him the 3 day requirement is merely a guideline for the FFL to follow, and that Sporstman's Warehouse would not release the firearm until the FBI gave the proceed call.
A call to Cal-Ranch for their policy found that they are delaying release for 7 days, being the Feds are 6 days out from proceed calls.
Ah...so not letting him handle guns was just to keep him from jumping the line.
ugh
It almost sounds like they are getting his phone to install an app, which will often demand it be allowed access to everything from the microphone, to pictures, to call records, to GPS coords. But most people probably have no idea what it is doing, and think it is like providing ID or something.
That is messed up.
More and more, I am thinking something big is coming down the line, and very soon.
Kinda takes the fun out of an impulse purchase.
Yeah that’s what I think as well.
They want to herd us and cull us like cattle.
I refuse stuff like that.
Was that at the Hamburg Cabelas?
If so, I may never buy another gun there again.
Read that they are doing Form 4473’s for black powder purchases!
Or better yet, leave a loaded handgun in the car?
That’s stupid. But no, I haven’t returned to Pennsylvania since the covid thing. Thinking of making a permanent move out, but my heart is Pennsylvania Dutch.
I dunno. There is so much less bs in Arkansas. At the moment. Plus there is a strong possibility of Arkansas moving along with Texas should that ever happen.
Texas resources with Arkansas livestock with Oklahoma farms? Yeah. Winning combo.
