Union leaders shame parents, arguing that equity gaps will widen if parents pull their children out of public schools.
Parents who bring their children together in small learning groups during the pandemic not only get labeled as eccentric, but also as segregationists guilty of promoting racial division in a nation with an ugly history of "separate but equal."
The National Education Association lays out the talking point in a recent policy paper, and industry insiders have repeated the claim on dozens of platforms. Using loaded terms like "radical" and "unqualified," they have sounded the alarm about a massive parental revolt.

Parents Who Opt Out of Public Schools Don’t Deserve Smears From Teachers Unions

Teachers unions are criminal organizations.
L
the only way to enforce accountability on corrupt public schools is reduce enrollment, particularly in the lower grades.
most states like here in WA, public school districts are reimbursed on a per student basis... drops in enrollments leads to deficits.
And they’ve made themselves utterly useless over the past year.
(Do you want someone that stupid teaching your child in the first place?)
Parents who truly hate their children send them to Public School.
Teachers are refusing to go back to work in the classrooms and then complaining that parents are pulling their kids out of public schools.
Goes to show that there’s nothing you can do to satisfy the entitlement mentality minded.
It seems to me that the K-12 professionals are, for whatever reason, actively harmful to the nation’s children.

Amen! They do not give a flip about the children except to radicalize and hold them hostage for their benefit.
Any parent who cares what the teachers’ unions think of him needs his head examined.
Get your children out of those public cess pools, now!
This is called taking care of the family. It’s not Horse Stealing! Those kids don’t belong to the school.
I put my 4 kids in private school from 2000-2010, then 2010-2020 when things got pricey and I found a supposedly “good” district, and now my remaining two are closing out their high school years in 1) private school and 2) homeschooling.
Best decision ever to leave public school! Covid and the public schools’ continued closures and awful, soul deadening, ineffective “remote learning” was just the last straw.
I’d rather have my daughter in only part time in her new Christian school than full time back in public.
Good riddance! CA truly hates children, teens, sports, church, and education.
And Civilization ...

A lot of kids who go to college should be doing something else ... like this:

Members of any teacher’s union deserve derision to the Nth power - where N is a very large number.
Strike one: The easiest degree in college with no actual intellectual or workplace value. They’d fail a 1900 high school completion exam.
Strike two: Joined a corrupt union which actively supports the sleaziest party in the multiverse. It’s never “for the kids”. It’s for the dorks and dorkets.
Strike three: They are the REASON publik skoolz suck the big one.
Fire their smarmy, ill educated, and quite worthless Obamaholes.
They’re right. It seems like the only reliable way to reduce the black-white gap, is to cripple the education of white kids.
That’s what they’re really saying, if you pay attention.
Didn’t President Obama send his children to private school?
This is easy enough to get around. Private schools and homeschoolers just make it part of their last semester curriculum to get their GED, along with SAT and ACT. For private school and home school kids, the test will be a joke.
Is it a big deal if they wrote in other requirements that made it impossible for homeschoolers to attend an ivy school? Not at all! How many CEOs and millionaires are there that couldn't be where they are without that ivy league education? None. When we do interviews, we look for the degree, ask about the GPA, and I'll ask a few qualifying questions to make sure they learned something from it. Otherwise, couldn't care less what college they went too as long as they know the principles and can apply it to their role.
