Maybe you know this. When I buy my next phone, I want something that does not run Apple or Android (Google) software. What other good choices are there?
LG? Samsung?
If you’re talking cellphones I’ve got a Motorola phone I like.
There are some lynux phones. They will still have Google apps. There is a duck-duck-go ap that functions ike a browser on a
tab or phone.
Samsung is tightly bound to google. LG seems less so. It is also a much less expensive option. The features are not quite as nice but the phone works well for almost everything I use it for. The only issue I’ve had is that the ap to remote start my car doesn’t work on LG
Use Google against itself. Go-to youtube and look at a video on how to de google your phone.
Look at off brand tablets. I have one mad by Hyundai, like the car company. It seems to work just fine and was a hundreds cheaper than a Samsung or Apple
Buy an Android phone, then go over to the LineageOS website, download the appropriate firmware for you phone and install it. Tutorials abound on how to do that without messing up your phone. Install the LineageOS firmware but do not install the Gapps (Google apps) package that comes as a separate package. Once OS installation is finished, install Aurora Store which gives you access to apps on Google Play without any Google services installed on your phone. Freedom from leftist snooping, adware and data mining! And your phone will run much faster than with the Google garbage installed on it. PM me if you decide to do it - I’ll walk you through the process. Well worth it!
