That’s right. Lately the vet makes owner stay in the car.
Some allow owner in, some might even go to the car. Guess it depends on vet and state.
I would not want my dog going in alone to die. (That happened with one of our seven dogs and we STILL have not gotten over it, that was four years ago) Just makes the whole scenario that much worse.
there are services that will do it in your home prior to Covid..dont know about now
I had a vet come out to the car. (Years ago.) I prefer that to taking the dog in, since I was going to bury him.
