On-lookers were left wondering what was going on
Three Cliffs Bay is one of the most breath-taking on Gower.
But visitors couldn’t help but be distracted from it’s striking panorama on Thursday, January 21 - by a man flying over the bay in a jet pack.
Looking like something from a movie, it is believed to be a commercial in the making.
The company behind the project, Gramafilm, said it would reveal the story behind the project next month.
But a spokesman for the National Trust, responsible for Three Cliffs Bay, said: “The National Trust Film Office had given permission for Grama Films to film at Three Cliffs Bay for a company’s development of an android challenge.
“The safety of the public and our places are our upmost priority and we carried out all of the safety and insurance checks including covid regulation. The health and safety of the crew and any other persons in attendance rests with the production team on the day.
“Filming opportunities like these are a great way of showcasing what we have to offer, and any filming fees goes towards looking after these places for ever, for everyone.”
There have been people flying around LAX [Los Angeles]in jet packs for quite soom tine. some of this on FB I have been led to believe.
Is that George Lazenby?
You must be under 50.
“Armando Joseph Catalano (January 14, 1924 – April 30, 1989), better known as Guy Williams, was an American actor and former fashion model.
He usually played swashbuckling action heroes in the 1950s and 1960s, but never quite achieved movie-star status.[2]
Among his most notable achievements were two TV series: Zorro in the title role, and as the father of the Robinson family on the popular sci-fi series Lost in Space.”

No, I’m way over 50. I was testing you, lol. Williams does kinda resemble Lazenby in toy form in that bottom image. Most people don’t know who Lazenby is. I used to watch Lost and Space before I became a Star Trek fan which was a more serious show.
Vince Reffet was an incredible Jet Packer. There’s a United Arab Emerits commercial of him flying along the plane. He crashed and died last November. But, if you want to see the best in action, check out his videos.
