Hank Aaron, the Hall of Famer slugger who starred with the Atlanta Braves, has passed away at the age of 86.

Just days after the MLB world mourned the loss of pitching icon Don Sutton, the game’s one-time home run king died on Friday morning in Atlanta.

The heartbreaking news, first reported by CBS 46, has since been confirmed by a close family member and a former Braves official.

Aaron got his start in baseball with the Indianapolis Clowns on the Negro League in 1951. Before long, he quickly caught the attention of MLB. After signing with the Braves, he spent the next few seasons in the minor leagues before making his MLB debut in 1954.

He had the Moderna vaccine a short time ago. Not suggesting it killed him. Could be unrelated. Or it could have sent his system into overdrive

Late in his show today, Rush Limbaugh mentioned Hank Aaron's death today at age 86. Two weeks ago (January 5, I think) Hank Aaron took the first of 2 Moderna vaccinations - live on TV, to encourage other African-Americans to get the vaccine.

Then Aaron died two weeks later. Rush said so far there's no mention of cause of death.

There's been "talk" of blood clotting issues with the COVID vaccines, but I have no idea what is true. Does anyone have any solid info about this?

This guinea pig had a nice long life before giving his life for science. Nothing to see here - move along.

I just remembered he was a classless white-hating athlete which is no different than today’s bunch of America-hating pile of turds.

Yeah that’s why you need both doses, and some were probably infected before getting the shot and didnt know it. Here in LA its mostly moderna being offered, except at CSUN its Pfiser

I was at the game when he hit #700. It landed several rows in front of me.

Yes, great baseball player, but that is where it begins and ends with me. Ruth's record was more impressive as he accomplished it in far fewer games than Aaron.
