Washington released Haskins, the 2019 first-round pick out of Ohio State, on Dec. 28, less than 24 hours after he was a mess on the field (with three turnovers) in a loss to the Panthers and worse, was found in violation of pandemic protocols after being caught partying with several people without a mask.

Haskins was another Dan Snyder Special, just like RG III and Donovan McNabb. Snyder always want his Shiny New Toy to play with until it breaks. That team will be the pre-Brady version of the Patriots as long as Snyder owns the team. Rivera is deluding himelf if the thinks he can outmaneuver Snyder’s little whims, no matter what guarantees he got.
