CNN Leads Cable News Networks In Viewership Of Joe Biden’s Inauguration Swearing In Ceremony (Fox News ratings down 75% from 2017)

CNN topped the other major cable news networks in inauguration coverage of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ swearing in ceremony at the Capitol.

CNN drew 9.07 million viewers, compared to 6.14 million for MSNBC and 2.57 million for Fox News. The figures, from Nielsen and released by Fox News, are from the 11 AM ET to 1 PM ET time frame.

More complete numbers across broadcast and cable networks are expected to be released over the next couple of days.

I do watch the last 30 minutes of special report and nothing much else. I think I am a rarity as a hell of a lot of people on this board turned the dial on FNC over the last year. There are also two other conservative channels now. Thus, it might be different this time and your theory might not hold true.

the panel segment on SR was a never-miss for me when it was hume’s show. I haven’t watched 5 minutes of any kind of tv news since about 3am of the morning after the election.

but I will also say that if popular sentiment on FR was a decent national indicator, trump would still be president, several thousand state level republicans in GA and AZ would be in prison, and lin wood would be AG. I mean, jus’ sayin’

the other conservative channels don’t have the carriage or the on air talent to do what needs to be done; lead the media charge against what the liberals are gong to try to do to the country. newsmax and oan just aren’t there yet.
