Please read the article while considering the following Georgia statute, Code of Georgia §21-2-570:
"Any person who gives or receives, offers to give or receive, or participates in the giving or receiving of money or gifts for the purpose of registering as a voter, voting, or voting for a particular candidate in any primary or election shall be guilty of a felony."

They were tweeting about it nonstop, posting on Instagram about it nonstop, the senators-elect themselves. They stabbed people in the back. The majority of people I worked with left their jobs for a month. They put their lives on hold and then [the incoming administration] went and stabbed them in the back.”

Those who cashed the check will now be threatened with jail those who wrote them not a chance.

It may attract them but they're going to have to compete with the four million jobless caused by the minimum wage hike. The Seattle restaurant workers could have given them some pointers but that was before all the restaurant workers were put out of business by Covid. Nothing like increasing the supply of minimum wage workers when there is already an enormous glut.( It's called Bidonomics)
