It’s just the flu, bro.
This endemic Coronavirus is nothing. It doesn’t require a national policy. It doesn’t require a state policy. Nations must defeat existential threats be they invaders, currency collapse, economic embargoes,etc. This Coronavirus is not an existential threat to any country, therefore why government intervention? And especially a country based on freedom and liberty like the United States - the only destabilizing this is the intervention itself.
So theoretically what type of viral event would be an existential threat and warrant a US government, or state government, intervention? Perhaps a disease that would materially affect a nation’s economic prospects via a harmful demographic shift. An economically harmful demographic shift would be one that killed lots of young kids and babies, which affects long term economic power or one that killed/disabled many working age people, which affects short and medium term economic power. Coronavirus isn’t close to doing this kind of harm.
I hate to sound utilitarian with my analysis above but government intervention for a disease needs to pass a threshold that considers the nations survival and power. For those seniors dying a year before their time, that is not the government’s problem.

The Biden administration is far more of a threat to the survival of this nation than COVID-19.
The whole pandemic was government generated for control and has had far more deadly consequences than a cold with a 99.95% survival rate. Not to mention the financial impact and now a vaccine that even after you take it they still want you to wear a mask and social distant and they don’t know if you can still transmit it or how long it will be effective.

Where are the public service announcements by celebrities telling us how to choose a proper mask? How to wear it? How to clean it?
Where are the public service announcements educating the public about how the virus spreads? People still argue if asymptomatic transmission is real or not because we have seen contradictory information from the “experts”....some from the same “expert” changing their mind.
Where is the public service campaign educating the public about which preexisting conditions made you more vulnerable and which were not a threat?
Where is the public service campaign about why it is OK to stand in line and pack the aisles in Walmart, but not your local general store?
Where are the studies showing mask effectiveness? We are almost a year into this and we have not had a university study?

In my county, the average number cases of hospital/doctor visits because of the flu, dropped from 13,500 per month to just 250.

Sigh, Imagine if, instead of masks and lock downs we had thrown some virgins into a volcano.......
