Nestlé Prepared Foods is recalling more than 762,000 pounds of pepperoni Hot Pockets, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said.
The frozen stuffed sandwiches — shipped to retail stores nationwide — are being recalled because they “may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of glass and hard plastic,” the USDA said Friday.
The problem was discovered when the company received four consumer complaints of extraneous material in pepperoni Hot Pockets, the department said. The company has received one report of a “minor oral injury” associated with consumption of the product, the USDA said.

All that wasted time, labor, machine maintenance and of course money. Heads will be rolling when they find a suitable Scapegoat.
Finish this jingle, if you can!
N.E.S.T.L.E.S.....Nestle’s makes the very best...
Sounds intentional. Why would glass be anywhere near a production line?
Trying to kill basement-dwelling millennials?
The way things are today, it would not surprise me to have a disgruntled employee sabotage their employer because they are not ‘diverse’ enough in some modern twist of that term.
“I wanted to start a discussion, but I was either laughed at or brushed off!”
Only if soy milk is recalled.
Al Gore’ll eat the lot! But only if it is free to him...
Last time I bough hot pockets they were untainted by any food product except cardboard tasting bread. Years ago they were a decent quick meal, but alas....
Chocolate. Old commercial.
I agree. Why not just have an apple or orange? I usually snack on chips and salsa even. My 2021 resolution is to completely cut out on processed, microwaved foods.
I actually like these and that flavor specifically...but only occasionally do I actually get them - which I guess is a good thing at present.
Yep- i tried one a few years back and couldn’t believe how it tasted- awful repeated terrible, made me sick- i used to live on hot pockets too-
Now i get steak and cheese burritos, they have a bunch of junk in them too, but at least i don’t get sick, and they are just as quick and easy-
Good idea.
Maybe it was supposed to be lemonglass?
Good memory!
One of the first products to disappear from our local grocery stores when we were told to lock down for “two weeks to flatten the curve” early in 2020. Most at the time looked at it as a two week vacation/party from school/work. I looked at it as “going down the rabbit hole” that was going to be difficult to crawl out of.
Thanks, it was ingrained into memory via Saturday morning commercials. All the dreck I don’t need and little that I might want to. Go figure, eh? Har!
Ooh, I still say Bailey was hotter than Jennifer.
Probably muzzie food handlers.
