A former Congressman from Tennessee set off an internet firestorm when he appeared on Fox News remotely Thursday, with a portrait of former Chairman of the People’s Republic of China and founder of the Chinese Communist Party Mao Zedong in the background.
Harold Ford Jr., a Democrat, represented Tennessee’s Ninth Congressional District for a decade, from 1997 to 2007. Now, he provides commentary frequently on Fox News.
Fox News viewers noticed some strange background decor during Ford’s appearance on “Special Report” with Bret Baier Thursday.
“Wow, [Harold Ford Jr.] rockin’ the Warhol Mao over the fireplace. I liked the Muhammad Ali better,” Tom Bevan, founder of Real Clear Politics said.

I imagine hes got his portraits of Che, Pol Pot, Castro and Stalin hung up in other rooms.
“I like Chinese money!”
Um, folks, it’s Andy Warhol.
What is amazing is Bret Baier being Ford’s apologist! These Fox personalities may as well just have the DNC logo in their chyron. Ford is a leftie and Mao as a backdrop for a Fox interview didn’t even phase them until they were challenged by red blooded Americans!
What self respecting American would want a portrait of Mao in their house? I don’t care who painted it. Not cute. Mass murderer’s are not panda bears.
“Um, folks, it’s Andy Warhol”
So what you are saying is that this clown paid good money to put a murderous commie on his wall. That’s an even bigger indictment on this POS.
If Andy Warhol painted a picture of Adolf Eichmann would it be fashionable to hang in on the wall? Mao is also one of Anita Dunn’s favorite political philosophers. Dunn is a senior advisor to the President of the United States in the Biden Administration.

I’m saying that it’s a work of art that could be interpreted in a multitude of ways, including as a statement of deep disdain toward Mao. I just think it’s a creative work by a great artist.
Lots of Americans display all sorts of art and view it in a variety of ways. I think the Warhol piece is a very cool work of art that in no way glorifies Mao.
Would you say the same if he painted Hitler?
Premeir Mao makes Fidel, Che, and the Muslim leaders look like choir boys re the people killed under their regimes.

I think art is cool; however, no way I am having any pictures of Che, Mao, Hitler, Pol Pot, Fidel on my wall.
History is cool too, and what do the above names have in common?
He ain’t gonna make it with anyone anyhow.
Let’s not forget that the 0bama White house had Mao Christmas ornaments on their tree.
Commie thugs... sell outs to Chinese totalitarians.
