The establishment is still pretending to fight the Cold War because they’ve joined the China Party. Sec. Pompeo is right: they’re inside our gates, and in huge numbers.
He is telling the truth. They have been here. Trump started pushing back. Suddenly a virus comes to town, during the election year.
On the other hand we have set up so we rely on China for cheap manufacturing and to lend back to us money we paid them for their cheap stuff so we can either buy more cheap stuff or to fund our spendthrift ways. They have become the ants while we are the grasshoppers - and it looks like summer is ending. Unfortunately the new grasshopper king is beholden to the ants.

The Chinese realized in the 80s that the USA and most of its leaders could be bought...Russia didn’t realize this for a couple decades

I think he was referring to the last could war with the USSR. Since they dissolved decades ago. If he meant Russia today he would have referred to them as such.

The USSR basically distanced themselves from the corporate world, whereas China figured out the best way was to simply infiltrate the corporate world.
Exactly, ALL PLANNED with traitors in the government taking bribes and using it to push their own commie agenda.
