I have no doubt that lots of false-claims against black men by white racist women caused death and mayhem. Indeed, that is likely a contributor to (if not genesis of) the Tulsa Race Riots. History isn't to be ignored - it is to be studied and understood. So I disagree that this is a mega barf alert.
However, what the good professor can't see, is the truth in her own words:
“Through lynching, your words have the power of life and death over an African-descended man,” Jones-Rogers explained. “Your vote can secure a place in the state, in the government, for white supremacy.”
Evil is evil, and bad is bad, regardless of the color of the perp. Thus, the professor (unintentionally but rather convincingly) draws a straight line from white racist women to Anita Hill, Blasey Ford, et al.
Yes Virginia, I believe the professor is correct...but if so, then it means this evil not only survives, but has been weaponized to "lynch" (as Clarence Thomas noted correctly) people of good standing. The linkage is there, it is proven, and the chief beneficiary in SCOTUS has been Dems (well, they started the Klan so it's only fitting).
I also suspect this evil also underlies Weinstein, Epstein, and Dershowitz. Because people have caught on to the virtual lynching potential of false claims, there is a pendulum swing back to discounting accusers...bad guys get away with bad behavior because within their circles, they will destroy anyone who speaks out.
So I think Dr Jones-Rogers's onto something but I don't think she'd like where it leads us as a society. Slavery and racism have been weaponized for political gain, and nobody really seems to want to defang that movement. If it WAS defanged, the harmony would likely benefit lovers of freedom and the truth that we are all created in the image and likeness of God and are worthy of such respect. Hollywood and D.C. would lose power, which is why I don't have lots of hope people will act accordingly.

Who cares about hope.
You and I can act accordingly.
My family is multi racial. And no one can bait us.
