I don’t think the sarcasm tag is appropriate for something that is true...This is “them” finally feeling “the heat” when they thought they were above it all and only the “little guy” had to worry! They all need to learn in the next reelection cycle (House in 2022) that they WORK FOR US and we want them unemployed!
Dream Scenario:
DJT leaves DC. The military, with all the evidence of vote fraud, steps in, arrests all the major RAT players involved, including the Bidens (for treason), holds new elections in the states where fraud was rampant, and then invites the duly elected President back to be sworn in.

That is right in front of Main State Department HQ. Maybe they were there protecting that building. There are multiple other ways to just that one bridge (two actually, quite close to there), that don’t require you to go that street, so it probably was not trying to control the routes out of town.
On the North side of DC, every street just passes straight into Maryland (no river obstacle). 25,000 troops is probably not enough to block all the exits.
I’m thinking it was point security around the State Department.
