+1 one on that — you can still get them but they are a special order by combining items ala carte and they do not taste the same.
I used to get a “six-pack” of tacos on a regular basis there in my younger days. I always thought they made a good taco - at least by fast food standards. Been a long time since I went there though.
They’re worried about potatoes? They should worry about putting actual BEEF in their tacos! ;)

Coming home from the bars I would eat a large pizza myself and I weighed 170 6-3 at the time
Sadly those eat all you can days are over for me.I now struggle with weight issues

MMmmm. GREASY chorizo con huevos y papas. In a greasy brown paper bag with lots of cheap single ply napkins with lots of little single use plastic containers of red and green sauce.

When I was young a good friend of mine had worked as a chef/cook in fancy restruants and at taco bell, he said that taco bell had the highest quality and freshest food of all the places, back in the early 80’s.
I live outside of Albuquerque, NM.
Easily 50% of our restaurants, if not more, are Mexican or New Mexican (New Mexican = Mexican + Green Chile).
Many of these Mexican restaurants have drive thrus. Many are inexpensive.
There is a Taco Bell not far from my house that is infamous for food poisoning. No matter what time of day, that Taco Bell ALWAYS has a line.
I don’t understand it.
My little brother used to work, back in the day, at Long John Silvers.
Holy Crap. He’d come home and take a 20 minute shower. Just to get the grease off of him. His clothes always got washed separately for obvious reasons. Even after washing, they were still slick and greasy.
I believe it. Fish - chicken - hush puppies - whatever. They all tasted the same. Why? Fried in same greasy oil.
Oh yeah, Taco Bell WILL hurt you alright!
