I think people here know that I’m a doctor.
I just completed the second shot of the two dose Pfizer vaccine. I felt virtually nothing after the first shot and nothing after the second shot given about 15 hours ago.
The injection consists of only 0.3 ml. Contrast that with the flu vaccine that is 0.5 ml.
The first shot helps your body recognize the virus, and the second revs up your immune system.
As you know, 99% of those infected with the virus recover fully. On the other hand there is a small percentage that recover but not fully. We call these people “long haulers.”
You might want to read up about them as many are formally very healthy even athletic.
Don’t be afraid of this shot. I recommend that you take it when it becomes available.
How refreshing.
I laughed out loud at your post
That poor shawn skelton reaction might be 1 in a 500k..but she has it. Seeing other reports of similar reactions..so something going on..even if rare
They need to figure it out.
I’m told Pfizer and Moderna vaccines do not use human cell lines.
I did have two glasses of a nice Cabernet last night with a nice steak.
I am a physician also, and there is no way that I will take this vaccine
This is true
My protocol of prevention/treatment has worked well...
Including the vitamin D Hammer (Google if interested).
Starting with keeping my immune system strong.
This virus will have to go through the population.
No stopping it.
I decided the vaccine is not something I’m interested in.
I wish everyone well, regardless of what they do.
Animal models showed this and urged caution. Antibody dependent response (Cytokine storm) or immune super priming.
Convince your Governor to quite listening to the CDC and NIH
Make sure everyone knows the early treatment options
The Gov can make sure prescriptions are available
ivermectin and vitamin D should be given to those that need it If you have a publication light them up
That’s a help to know, if Pfizer and Moderna do not use human cell lines. We don’t want to be inaccurate in our relays of information. But we still resist the vaccines for several other reasons. Thanks, though, for your reply.
I agonized on this, and weighed the pros and cons.
I’m 70 years old. I swab 10 to 20 people everyday who have had exposure to the virus.
I figured sooner of later, I’d probably get it.
I’ve seen a few healthy adults, ie runners, athletic types who are long haulers, who are still really sick, along with a few who are still very weak, 4 weeks out.
I can’t afford to quaranteen myself 14 days.
Here in Georgia, none of the doctors quaranteend and we walked the streets right from the start, so maybe I already got the thing.
In summary, if I were in my 40s or 50s I probably would pass on the thing, but seeing that 2 million plus have had the vaccine with no ill effects, I decided to do it.
I WOULD CONSIDER TAKING THE VIRUS, IF I’M LIVING IN A LOCKED DOWN, BLUE STATE.
This also applies to some medical professionals on this site. The difference between their posts about the seriousness of this disease from early last year to now is like night and day.
A lot of people will NEVER take the vaccine, based not on reason, but hysteria.
Why? :-)
Do you know what mRNA is and what it does in your body? It’s NOT your genetic code, and the vaccine is not modifying your mRNA. In mRNA the “m” stands for messenger. This molecule pairs with the DNA in your cells’ nuclei and carries the DNA’s encoded information out of the nucleus to the ribosomes. It binds to a ribosome where it pairs with tRNA molecules. These tRNA molecules each bind to a specific amino acid. In this way a string of amino acids is synthesized at the ribosome. Such a strong is better known as a protein.
The mENA in the vaccine functions exactly the same way when it enters your cell. It binds a ribosome and synthesizes a protein. In this case, it’s the “spike” protein of the virus that is synthesized. This protein is part of the mechanism that enables the virus to breach the nucleus and modify your DNA to produce copies of the virus, but by itself it’s harmless. It does stimulate your body’s immune response, though, so that it’s ready when you actually get infected by the virus.
You ano anyone else worried about having your genetic code modified should understand something. The vaccine will NOT modify your genetic code, but the virus absolutely will. That’s how viruses work — they invade the cell, incorporate their genome into the host cell’s genome and copy that cell’s metabolic function to produce new copies of the virus. If modifying your DNA is your primary concern, then you should be first in line for the vaccine since viral infections do just that.
The scary part of that is a big proponent of the protocol still ended up hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia from covid.
One could theorize he might have ended up on a vent if he hadnt started the meds..but who knows
This is a bizarre disease that they still dont understand..but then so is cancer.
Right, RNA changes your chromosomez. That basic microbiology right there. Everybody knows it. RNA changes your chromosomes and your chromosomes then produce DNA that makes 1/3 of mankind die. It reacts with the fluoride in your water. and the chemtrails.
Bill Gates is associated to the Moderna version.
I’ve felt initially, and probably still now, that this was the biggest hoax, fueled in the press and CDC to get Trump out of office.
It looks like it may have served its purpose. I guess we will see.
I’m seeing just about 95% of people infected, having little to no symptoms. Less than a cold.
But I’m exposed to it, everyday.
But, I’ve also seen many who are sick. The hospitals are getting slammed.
That’s why I got the vaccine.
You can say that, but you can also question why this technology has been around for a long time and never been approved for use on humans.
