Cupertino, California — Apple today announced a set of major new projects as part of its $100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative (REJI) to help dismantle systemic barriers to opportunity and combat injustices faced by communities of color. These forward-looking and comprehensive efforts include the Propel Center, a first-of-its-kind global innovation and learning hub for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); an Apple Developer Academy to support coding and tech education for students in Detroit; and venture capital funding for Black and Brown entrepreneurs. Together, Apple’s REJI commitments aim to expand opportunities for communities of color across the country and to help build the next generation of diverse leaders.
“We are all accountable to the urgent work of building a more just, more equitable world — and these new projects send a clear signal of Apple’s enduring commitment,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. “We’re launching REJI’s latest initiatives with partners across a broad range of industries and backgrounds — from students to teachers, developers to entrepreneurs, and community organizers to justice advocates — working together to empower communities that have borne the brunt of racism and discrimination for far too long. We are honored to help bring this vision to bear, and to match our words and actions to the values of equity and inclusion we have always prized at Apple.” Jared Bailey wearing AirPods and holding an iPad. Jared Bailey, a senior at Morehouse College, has integrated Apple’s coding and creativity curricula into his public health and community service work as part of the school’s partnership with Apple, a collaboration that is expanding further with the launch of the Propel Center.
Last June, Apple announced REJI in the wake of protests around the world following the killings of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and countless others.

Only racism I see us against white Christians
FApple.
I’m going to have to dump my Apple products... smh.
Some polling outlet should do a secession poll among minorities in red states and see which side they choose. We’d probably win over a large percentage.
Go Woke, go broke. All you can expect from the fraud of CRT is more racial division. This is apparently the real agenda of the Left.
Good. Let them hemorrhage money over a lost cause. The government has been trying these tactics for 50+ years with little to no success and trillions of dollars wasted.
I truly look forward to my iPhone being designed by some undeserving, affirmative action EE Negro.
I assume it will have a bass tube, colored purple, with chrome spinners on the back.
Maybe a free app that makes girls’ asses look bigger. Nomsayin’?...
How much are you worth AH?
Just wait until the Biden administration gets cranked up. They are going to come full force using race as the battering ram.
Whites better start grouping together or they will bury us. Whites' are the only race that has no specific representation or advocacy groups.
We have 20 something year olds lecturing us on racism.
They have no clue.
What do they mean by “racial equity”? All all the overpaid whites and asians at Apple going to to split their bloated salaries with blacks and poor Appalachians?
“I’m going to have to dump my Apple products... smh.”
I dumped mine in 1983 - Apple II+
Yep, I almost switched from Android to Apple, but my conscious wouldn’t allow it.

"You'll be the highest paid janitor in America, just please don't hurt me."
I’m a grant writer and suddenly the only grants available out there in any field are for diversity, equity and inclusion.
Note the use of “equity”, although that doesn’t actually make sense; equality is harder to spell and has other connotations.
Equity is a Newspeak word.
