Here on Camano Island we have been out since 1am. Generator running, coffee made. Thousands out on the mainland in Snohomish County. Deception Pass bridge to Whidbey Island closed due to a tipped over semi truck/trailer.

I can confirm we had a huge windstorm here last night. Branches everywhere when I woke up.

Those other places just went dark, period. Can confirm that because I have a workmate in Pakistan. Down for 10 hours, including internet and phones. No explanation given.

I’m guessing the light-rail will be used mostly by gangs to get from the city to the suburbs. (Like in Portland).

In Seattle, the busses no longer charge people to ride them. Consequently, they have turned into traveling homeless shelters. I wouldn't ride one of them if they were free (which they are....well, maybe if my life depended on it.)
