Walmart, the world's biggest retailer, joined other major companies in indefinitely suspending donations to U.S. lawmakers who voted against President-elect Joe Biden's election certification.
The Arkansas-based company said Tuesday, in light of last week's attack on the U.S. Capitol, its "political action committee is indefinitely suspending contributions to those members of Congress who voted against the lawful certification of state electoral college votes."

Walmart is on Team China.
This coup is even bigger than I had thought. Attacking senators and representatives that actually represent or at least appear to try to represent their wishes is unheard of.
Small donations is far superior to corporate bribes.
Conservatives are loathed to participate in boycotts. Even here on FreeRepublic there are so many posts documenting so many excuses why Freepers will not do so. For years. Yet, the Leftists use this tactic to go after and beat into submission so many companies. It seems Conservatives do not learn the effective tactics of our enemies.
If you do not learn by example, if you do not learn the lessons of history you are doomed to repeat the results of capitulating to Leftist / Totalitarian History.
Yes, buying from other than Amazon, Walmart, etc...may cost you more money and affect your monthly budget. What is our FREEDOM WORTH?
Freedom isn’t worth the inconvenience for many.
First of all corporations should not be donating to candidates. If they do, their contributions should not be more than any other individual. If I’m limited to $4000 then. Wal Mart should likewise be limited to $4000.
Corporate contributions are bribes. The candidates should not accept them.
And it’s a double standard...I’ve heard that Democrats have repeatedly objected in the past at the counting of electoral votes.
I can buy everything elsewhere.
Walmart etc will lose money if the US govt falls apart or we descend to civil war, they would rather things get back to normal
Well, I’ve been contemplating this for a while now because of their extreme pandering to Black Lives Matter and other left-wing political activism, but they’ve finally given me the guts to go through with this. Goodbye Walmart. I would be disgusted with myself if I step foot again in a Walmart. I’m dependent on Walmart for a few specific items but I will now be looking for other alternatives regardless of how inconvenient or I’ll just do without. It’s sad they’ve given the finger repeatedly to tens of millions of their shoppers. They deserve the same action in return.
Walmart gone for me
You should feel this way about Walmart.
Any product made in China. Walmart is China. I can go on about this. I live a few blocks from their headquarters.
What I’ve learned about them would make your head spin.
All I can say is this: they never gave to Republicans.
Also, you’re being fed a line from the media. You’re being controlled. Stop letting them control you. Even when they agree and give you bits that you like to hear.
I guess the 74 million Trump voters need to be encouraged to make up for the corporate-based political persecution by giving more to all those who stood up for us and for fair elections by objecting. Maybe it can have a “Goya” effect where we actually help those on our side more than they hurt them.
Same here.
There’s always Dollar General to shop at.
I already boycott Walmart. I almost wish I shopped with them so that I could start boycotting them again
Boycotts? It is consumer choice. Its a free country, aint it? At least, for a little while longer.
Its like driving towards a cliff and thinking it would be wrong to put on the brakes.
Target next. What happens if Kroger or Safeway join this witch-hunt?
To think of the amount of political capital Republicans used to fight campaign finance reform. We protected the corporations and wealthy who are trying to eliminate us.
I live a few blocks from their headquarters.

So it smells like Kolkata or New Delhi there?
