He’s 78 years old. He was just elected for 6 more years. He’s no longer majority leader. IMHO, He’s a political hack and he knows what’s happening in DC. This futile, vindictive endeavor will only alienate Trump voters further from Republicans. Mitch HAS to know this! If it is all to prevent Trump from running again in 2024, they should know that he will still be a major influence on the elections of 2022 and beyond. There's nothing they can do about that. Behind the scenes Trump will remain a force. Seventy-five million plus voters will not soon forget this battle and the huge disappointment so many Republicans have been.
And then I will never vote for another Republican ever again.
