Both CNN and MSNBC scored a ratings win over Fox News for the first time in 20 years on Friday, January 8, according to Nielsen, via Mediaite.

Friday night saw CNN average 4.36 million total viewers, and 1.31 million in the key demographic of viewers aged 25-54.
This was closely followed by MSNBC, with 4.32 million total viewers and 838,000 in that same demographic.
Fox came in third place, with 2.98 million total viewers and 513,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
Newsweek has contacted Fox News for comment.

Apparently the Murdochs don’t care. They are wealthy, and they can sacrifice FNC. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature could see that disaffecting your core viewership and trying to be a cheap knockoff of two of your competitors isn’t a good business plan.
Aw, I think that they can recover! All they have to do is fire everyone except Levin. See, that wasn’t hard!
FOX wants to be “Leftist Lite” but it turns off every viewer and the Leftists go to CNN and MSNBC ad the Conservatives go elsewhere in large enough numbers that FOX has gone from #1 to last.
Corporate suits can’t ignore that, but I guess they are willing to accept it. They need bold moves, fire Wallace, fire Brazille, Fire Stirewalt, Fire Harf etc.
Give Levin prime time, give Victor Davis Hanson, prime time.
