RE: post #2306 ~ The unborn babies used for vaccine development were alive at tissue extraction
I have been concerned about this vaccine, its development, make-up, and potential effects. I have read technical papers, which I did not really understand, and asked our son, who is a microbiologist, to read them. He tried to explain to me. What I do get is that if it’s a choice, I will not take it nor would I subject my minor children to it.
Bottom line is - our 22-year-old daughter has informed us that she will be getting the vaccine this week. She is a grad student, attending university in St. Louis. To her, I am a political kook. My husband shakes his head and says that she is a grown woman.
Appreciate your reading my rant.

They had a nursing home in I believe Syracuse, NY where the home had zero Covid cases. Last week they vaccinated all 300 of the residents and 24 of them died.
My mom asked me last night if my dad should get it - he has heart issues and MS.
I told her I’m not getting it. I’ll walk away from my job before I get it. However, for dad I don’t recommend it due to his MS complications. If he wants to get it then he should wait a minimum of 6-9 months before he takes it so they can assess how everyone else is dealing with it.
Hearing too many stories of people having reactions for me to recommend it to anyone. Told my adult daughters and my wife the same. So far all are onboard.
I’m sorry, lyby! My sister, who works for a pediatrician, got hers a couple of weeks ago. She didn’t want me to know. I did ask my dad, who is 92, to wait a year before he got vaccinated. He said he would.
I don’t do vaccines as a whole. Basics for my pets as puppies or kittens, but that’s it.
This vaccine, no way, no how.
I’m sorry about your daughter, too. Most of my friends’ kids who went to university, went in conservative and came out liberal. Most have reverted back, but after marriage, kids, and few hard knocks about the head.

Pray for your daughter. Old saying, “Never take a permanent solution for a temporary problem.”
There is virtually zero reason for a 22 year old to worry about Covid. Or being eaten by a land shark.
Prayers for your daughter and you.
I can relate with the political kook part.
