Following is a letter House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent to Democrats:
On this Sunday, as we pray that God will continue to Bless America, I write to inform you of our next actions, which will be made with the great solemnity that this moment requires.
I want to call to your immediate attention the action to be taken tomorrow morning, when Majority Leader Hoyer will request Unanimous Consent to bring up the Raskin resolution. This resolution calls on the Vice President to convene and mobilize the Cabinet to activate the 25th Amendment to declare the President incapable of executing the duties of his office, after which the Vice President would immediately exercise powers as acting President. If we do not receive Unanimous Consent, this legislation is planned to be brought up on the Floor the following day. We are calling on the Vice President to respond within 24 hours.
Next, we will proceed with bringing impeachment legislation to the Floor.
In protecting our Constitution and our Democracy, we will act with urgency, because this President represents an imminent threat to both. As the days go by, the horror of the ongoing assault on our democracy perpetrated by this President is intensified and so is the immediate need for action.

Yeah, and quite frankly, she should leave the Catholic Church and stop declaring herself one, so that us Catholics aren’t given a bad name by her, Biden, and Ted Kennedy (JFK and perhaps Robert, I might let slide due to the fact that UNLIKE Biden, Ted, or Pelosi, JFK and Robert BOTH made pretty darn good attempts at actually FIGHTING Communism, at least actually TRIED to fight the menace rather than openly cheerleading/siding with the Communist menace, unlike those three).
Hope Pence is at least stalling for Trump to supply the goods and nail her, and not selling him down the river. Pence and his pro-life measures were the reason why I voted for Trump in the first place (I make it a point to avoid voting for anyone unless they A. are staunchly pro life to the extent of openly intending to end Roe v. Wade, and/or B., have a VP who is like that. That’s also the reason I voted for Romney back in 2012, since he made sure Paul Ryan, who IS pro-life, was his VP pick. Had he picked Condoleeza Rice, I would have sat out of the election), it would be stupid to have him just side with those guys anyways, even if he WERE a swamp-dweller (and quite frankly, even going by the swamp’s “standards”, the closest they have to that anyway, Pence possibly siding with Biden/Harris would be idiotic since he stands to personally LOSE a lot of power if he did that. Usually the backstabbers would want to have significant gains, and handing the presidency to your enemy and losing your VP status isn’t what I’d call “significant gains” on his own end, let alone anyone elses.).
The Nixon persecution comes to mind. As a brainless high-schooler and college freshman, I was baying for his blood. In retrospect, it was crazy stuff, half of it invented by Witless and Brylcreem.
It also brought us Jimmy Carter's 20 percent mortgages, skyrocketing inflation, economic downturn, and an 0bama-scale international contempt for America that culminated in Iran taking scores of Americans hostage and giving Jimmy the finger while they held them for a YEAR--until the certainty of Reagan nuking Tehran inspired Iran to free them on Jan. 20, 1981.
By the next election, I was a Reagan voter.
