The PGA of America will strip Donald Trump of the 2022 PGA Championship, which is scheduled to be held at Trump National Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.
In a blistering column that says the golf world must sever all ties with Trump, Golfweek’s Eamon Lynch said the PGA has been debating for two years the need to move the major championship and, once Trump is out of office, will announce the tournament will be played elsewhere:

PGA idiots. I bet 95% of the PGA players voted for Trump. The PGA is the ultimate individual sport and one of the greatest meritocracies out there.

When the women’s US Open was held at Trump national Bedminster, it may have been the most beautiful golf course the woman that ever played on. They were very happy playing in there.
The PGA was trying to get their Latin America tour going and thought Trump was bad for business. The irony of moving the event to Mexico is Mexico actually enforces immigration laws for working.

I believe it's true. It has been destroyed by professionalism.
Golf is, at its heart, about the amateurs.
Without amateurs, the equipment makers, courses, clubs, teachers, and greenskeepers would cease to exist. And without those things the pros would cease to exist also, as unlike other sports (like football or hockey), the pros couldn't support the infrastructure needed. Amateurs support that infrastructure.
But, don't tell the rules makers or course designers that. They seem hell bent on making changes to keep the pros in line--changes that also affect amateurs negatively.
Heck, they've been seriously talking about rolling back the ball's distance, because some guy on tour (DeChambeau) has been hitting the ball long.
The average amateur score in 1960 was 100. Today, the average amateur score is...100. Do these amateurs really need the ball rolled back? No, they need a governing body that focuses on amateurs. Instead, they have a governing body that is focused on the pros and thinks of amateurs as an afterthought.
I don’t play golf-—never have. I do enjoy watching it-—but not if they do this.
IT is beyond petty. Paladin reruns work just fine to entertain me.
I guess I will skip Bay Hill this year. What the sports entities don’t realize is the left will cancel them entirely. That’s the ultimate goal since sports are inherently racist, homophobic, bigoted and uses too many of planet etfs resources. Oh and global warming.
You understand that that is exactly what the left really wants. ALL sports cancelled, permanently. It doesn’t do anything to support the state so they intend to cancel all of it. I hear a lot about “fighting” the left but most are falling in line with what the facists want.
I am so angry. Now I can’t even enjoy watching golf. The PGA can go to hell. Bunch of ridiculous politically correct posers.
Hopefully some of the big name professionals will boycott the 2022 event if it is moved. I haven’t watched a professional football game in years and will do my best to ignore the PGA if they choose this path.
You know it’s bad when the PGA get’s woke.
Oh well, they have been playing without galleries for a year, they will be used to nobody watching.
