Do know two things that might be relevant and of interest
First thing is that the White House had intelligence that gave them a pretty good idea of what Antifa and the Democrats were planning so it is not out of the realm of the possible that someone on Trump's side took advantage of the confusion to collect some informative toys.
Second thing is that the first reports I heard of laptops and memory sticks seized by unspecified special ops agents was from accusations from a very agitated Congressional Democrat Chief of Staff or senior aide who I thought was nutters at the time.
Who knows what really happened but it is kind interesting that whoever took them went out of their way to leave a calling card to make the Dems got the message that they took them and not some random MAGA or Antifa supporter or Congressional staffer.
I'd really like to think that some good guys crashed Nancy and Chuck's Capitol Hill false flag operation and took advantage of the confusion to execute a little counter intel smash and grab. It just seems like the right thing to do - turn around is fair play and under the circumstances , it's not like Pelosi is in a position to complain
