Have you left the GOP?
Me

Posted on 01/08/2021 1:58:03 PM PST by Lod881019

Just a general question have you left or are leaving the GOP? Cause I was talking to a few people today who seem to have had it with the Party and just going for the candidate they like and won’t be volunteering or donating to the party for a very long time

The GOP is, officially, dead, so it really doesn’t matter whether or not voters are leaving the GOP. It’s dead, Jim.

Unless those states secede, they’ll be caught up in the same leftist policies as the rest of the country. Not advocating secession, but it is what it is.

I left after the senate cloture vote bringing Obama care to the floor.

They lost me a long time ago. Right after the establishment Repubs helped the Dems use the IRS to destroy the Tea Party!

I’m sticking with the 138 GOP House members

The 138 who voted YEA to reject the Pennsylvania electors. Yesterday.

No Doom & Gloom

No, the 138 GOP House members sat on their behinds for two months and did NOTHING. Then did a CYA vote when it no longer mattered. Were they lighting rockets off at the Senate or GA GOP to substantively investigate the coup? Nope. They played run out the clock hot potato with the states till the end and then allowed the rigged election to be certified. Don’t be duped by their beltway theater performance.

No, I’m staying and fighting.

The current GOP structure (especially as it relates to the Senate) is atrocious.

In my home state, we didn’t re-gain control of the Minnesota state house but we did elect some fine conservatives. I know a couple of them and they won’t compromise. We knocked off a 30 yr Dem incumbent in the US House - and that race wasn’t close.

If purity is the only test, then yes, maybe some should leave and go to the Constitution Party or the Libertarians. Advancing conservative beliefs will not be easy if we go that route - as tempting as it looks.

The GOP is the only vehicle to advance our agenda. It’s a bad vehicle. To get what we want, we have to declare war within the GOP.

Let’s put it another way. I am acquainted with a few Dem activists in this state. These people are not dems. They are out and out Socialists. But they knew their agenda wouldn’t stand a chance if advanced solely thru the Socialist Workers Party. They have gained control of the Democrat party.

We should do the same to the GOP.

I would love them to see a major drop off of republican voters in the general. Trump voters should not be suckered into the horse race ever again.

Bad idea....choose wisely in the primaries.

I'm still on the fence. Very good arguments on both sides of this. I do know that FL is a closed primary state with certain exceptions

Yes
Don’t want them calling me asking for funds.

Everyone should do it just to send the message.
You can always change back later .
Everyone needs to send them this message

They think the base is theirs and they think of us as stupid sheep that will continue to support them.

They sold us out
