Have you left the GOP?
Me

Posted on 01/08/2021 1:58:03 PM PST by Lod881019

Just a general question have you left or are leaving the GOP? Cause I was talking to a few people today who seem to have had it with the Party and just going for the candidate they like and won’t be volunteering or donating to the party for a very long time

I’ll tell you why. Under Socialism/Communism/Tyranny those entities will no longer be funded by you and me, but by the state. Therefore, they will do and say as dictated by the STATE. Money be damned, they’ll get their money from your taxes, not your discretion.

Good logic!

Term limits are on the way without constitutional amendment or legislation. It will begin in 2022 and continue into 2024 and hopefully into perpetuity. People will once again realize that issues are more important than party or emotion. Platform is more important than personality. The US Congress gets revamped in the 2022 election. By that time enough eyes should be opened to the devastation created by the soon to be seated executive and legislature branches of government. The destruction will impact all elements of national power; diplomatic, information, military, and economy. A ground swell of people will wake up and realize what a mistake was made. We will see and feel the devastation. We will vote in a way that will stop the carnage. Hopefully, the Supreme Court can or will stave off complete self-destruction in the meantime. The Republican Party is dead as a political organization. A viable alternative is required that offers something to all US citizens. We must reestablish the notion of the American Dream. The role of our Government was never intended to provide life, liberty, and property but set the conditions for that purpose. We must stop the nonsense of diversity in favor of stressing the characteristics that unite all humanity. Have objectives that unite rather than destroy. We are more alike than we are different. The new fresh idea party will win both houses. People will be elected based on issues rather than emotion. Once the carnage has been stalled 2024 will provide the opportunity to the reverse the devastation. We are the United States of America.

In my state if you register independent you are automatically lumped in with the Democrat Party & they will send you a ballot to vote in their primary! This would not be a satisfactory option for me.

There may be a new Patriot party. I could go Libertarian or Constitution Party. The Patriot who was shot at capital was a Libertarian!

Going Monday to rescind my voter registration.
I want to tell the registrar that I will not be participating in any more elections that can be flipped with “found” thumb drives.

“””Paper votes in person, signatures and voter ID, it has to be done in each state legislature. Get to work! Don’t ever, ever feel powerless.”””

I totally, 100% agree with you.

The Republican Party has the majority in the Legislature and Governorship in like 20 plus states.

We need to target those 20 plus states for them to pass new laws immediately that:
1. Prohibit ‘no-excuse’ mail in voting.
2. Require in-person voting with state issued ID.
3. Prohibit ‘touch screen’ voting where the machine generates a paper ballot. Only hand-filled ballots allowed.

Let’s smoke out the RINO’S in these states to see if they have the spines to put major roadblocks stopping voter fraud.

My fear is we will find the GOP Controlled State Government is as corrupt as the National GOP.

But it is better to find this out in the next 6 months than wait until 2022.

Glad I could help. BTW, I got a new voter registration card from my County Election Supervisor a couple of days after submitting party affiliation change.

As is usually the case, we need to clarify what a person means when the question is asked: “Have you left the GOP?”

You are in Alabama where voters do not register by party. I agree that supporting folks like Mo Brooks is the right thing to do.

I am in Florida where we have a closed primary and you can only vote for the party candidate. I have unregistered as a GOP voter in Florida to let the GOP know I am very unhappy with them.

The next GOP primary election in Florida is August 2022. I can change my registration in 2022 back to GOP if there happens to be some strong conservatives challenging rino’s in the August 2022 GOP primary.

I’m in Texas and I’m not voting again, period. Much less would I send money to Republican candidates. They are non-existent in my entire universe. My vote, and yours, only matter if the establishment cannot manipulate the voting machines and vote counting software. Sorry, but in my view, voting after this election is for saps and chumps.

Don’t want to support the ‘Rat Party? Send money to the Texas State Rifle Association and Gun Owners of America.

Yes the laws are different. At the same time, I am saying the GOP isn’t broken everywhere. We are doing ok in Alabama (except for the whole Doug Jones/ Roy Moore disaster). I am In the 4th district but on the boundary of the 5th (Aderholt and Brooks). All of Alabama Republicans challenged the results. We need to hold their feet to the fire and do their jobs. So far so good. Tubberville is Doing good so far. Shelby needs to retire and not try to be a crown maker.

The GOPe needs to go.
