Just a general question have you left or are leaving the GOP? Cause I was talking to a few people today who seem to have had it with the Party and just going for the candidate they like and won’t be volunteering or donating to the party for a very long time
I’m out.
In fact, I’m coming out against them. I’m anti-republican.
FYI, if were half as fed up with faux "originalists" on the Supreme Court as they are with the Republican Party, we wouldn't be in this mess. Trump's "originalists" would have voted to stop the coup.
Yes, did so today.
“I’m sticking with the 138 GOP House members
The 138 who voted YEA to reject the Pennsylvania electors. Yesterday.”
Yes.
There is a remnant.
I don’t even know in the U.S. what it means to be a member of a political party.
Do people join and pay dues?
In NJ, downloaded and filled out for unaffiliated. Mailing tomorrow.
Yes, start small and build upwards. I just sent an e-mail to the WH thanking Trump and asking him to stay in the public to help garner support for what we do next. The FIRST thing is Voter ID and voting in person. The Marxists used the CCP virus as an excuse to perpetrate voter fraud. THAT has to end.
One good thing scumbag McConnell did was get a lot of non-leftist judges planted. They will be useful for something like that. BUT, the most important thing would be to keep the leftwing locusts out. Don't know how that could be done except by personally making them feel very unwelcomed. Sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Coexist, my store's closed right now. Need your heating system fixed? Sorry, I'm booked for the next 200 years. Gutters falling off the house? Sorry I'm booked up. Sorry, you didn't get the job. Sorry, I'll have to decline your dinner invitation because I have a MAGA meeting tonight. So on and so forth.
“no Trump supporter send another $$ to the GOP!”
The GOPe hasn’t received any donations from us for 2 presidential elections.
We donated heavily and often to Candidate Trump.
He got a good size donation last year.
No. There’s no membership
Strictly for voting purposes in primaries
Etc.
Yes, officially changed to “unaffiliated” yesterday. Now listening to a bozo in our office talking to a young conservative guy. The bozo is trying to make the point that Nancy Pelosi is sane and rational and looking out for our best interests, in her trying to get Pence to back up the 25th Amendment actions.
THANK GOD the young guy is on our side, but he’s being very respectful in stating his case. Wish I could hear better.
I re-registered with no party affiliation in 1999 when the GOP controlled Senate refused to have a real trial with witnesses for the Impeached William Xlinton.
I did continue to vote for Republicans as the lessor of two evils until Mitt McRomney was nominated. It was then I simply quite voting.
Then came Donald Trump. I registered again without party affiliation to vote for him and no one else. The idea of a non politician really motivated me and I would have crawled across broken glass to make sure Hillary was not elected.
I knew Mr. Trump had no idea of how full the Swamp was with members of his own party.
Now that they have stabbed him in the back openly and allowed the left to steal a national election with impunity I will return to sitting out voting for any Republican.
Working to take over the Republican Party would be as hard as starting a new Trump party. I’m for doing that.
Out of state. When we get home, re regesteribg to Independent is first priority. The GOP is dead.
I left after Bob Dole’s pathetic campaign, but continued voting ‘R’. Now, screw it.
Left GOP on Dec 16, 2020. I am now a registered ‘No Party Affiliation’ voter.
‘’’Am I supposed to notify somebody? I thought the next election I just identify as “independent”. Is there a process?’’’
You might want to check this out.

That’s what I thought. Thanks.
I’m registered Republican. Doesn’t mean I’m a member of the Republican Party.
