At least he's not hiding behind a press release.

There he is making his case...

The Republican road to riches:

1. Elect me so I can stop them.
2. Now that I’m elected, I don’t have the power.
3. Re-elect me so I can stop them.

The optics are not good, regardless.

He’s there talking about state’s rights, while the Orcs have already taken over the city.

What is this sh*t about “verdict of the States”? Please correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t MULTIPLE states request (at the last minute0 to de-certify the fraudulent electors? And didn’t CON-gress refuse to allow it?

Sometimes Rand Paul is flat-out brilliant. Other times, he comes across as dumber than a box of rocks.

Sorry, nut state senators from 3 states requested the vote be held off for 10 more days...there is a precedent for this...until the fraudulent election issues could be dealt with and until they could see if the results changed the winner. Was that too much to ask?

Sounds like the physical accosting from the leftist mobs is still fresh in his mind. Good luck dealing with them, Senator. You’re on your own now. I’m not sure I speak for other conservatives, but here’s my middle finger.

Some state senators did but not enough apparently.

Rep. Massie said it has to be a majority of the legislature and they needed to contact him by 1pm yesterday.

Never happened...

From a related thread…

Just as with Pence, post-17th Amendment ratification Paul is ignoring that their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution include guaranteeing each state a republican form of government which includes guaranteeing vote-counting integrity imo.

"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

An example of electoral vote fraud in this election is the following imo. Electors are constitutionally intended to act independently of state governors and legislatures imo. So the alleged certification of electoral votes by governors instead of electors in some cases, and alternate destination of electoral votes in Electoral Count Act violate the chain of custody of electoral votes from electors to vice president specified in the 12th Amendment imo.

Excerpted from the 12th Amendment: "The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice- President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate [emphasis added]; […]"

Also, the Civil War Union States had ignored any electoral votes of the Confederate States in the 1864 election.

"Because eleven Southern states had declared secession from the Union and formed the Confederate States of America, only twenty-five states participated in the election." — Presidential election of 1864

I respect Rand, even though I disagree with him, at least in result.

The problem with principled federalism in this situation is national — no, international — socialism focuses its efforts at each micro-level state election, and it ceases to be a federal issue.

The GA “Senators” were elected using California elites’ money with a giant Soros-funded Army of activists.

There is no one one state can resist this crush.

They could flip Montana.

And once in, there is never again a free and fair election.

It’s forever fixed.

No state legislature make any request to de-certify. There were a few individual members of state legislatures that wanted it done.

Very good points.

Soros and his people have it figured out.

State level and primaries where like 10k votes is enough to win office.

He funds a lot of obscure races for a reason...

This a-hole is supposed to be some Constitutional guru and comes across as knowing the Constitution no better than Obama who was also a “Constitutional scholar”.

What are the chances of election reform? No more mail in ballots with a few exception, stopping vote canvasing, getting rid of fraud inspiring voting systems, voter ID etc?

He can’t vote to overturn the verdict of states?

States that have violated the constitution, its laws and defrauded MILLIONS Of people belonging to all the several states including the citizenry of their own states!!!

You respect federalism when everyone is playing by the rules! We are a union of sovereign nation states... and not one or several can dictate to the rest; which is why we have a senate and house! But now we have a collusion of house and senate subversives who wish to dissolve the union and republic from within, erase our borders and rule over us with central authority and totalitarian control as a single land/population mass!

But Rand Paul says he wants to protect the EC and Federalism??!! From what?! These traitors want to DESTROY IT!!

These states have been infiltrated and corrupted by enemies of the United States! By an enemy who wish to destroy America; its constitution and its existence?

The states have been taken over by INVADERS! They have defrauded the majority will of their citizenry and have suppressed dissent, stifled free thought and free will. The people of these states have had their individual rights violated and censored!

Their votes were STOLEN from them!

These rouge states are no longer of the union and have violated the contract of statehood. They are no longer lawful adjoined states with allegiance to the constitution, federalism and the laws that govern them!

These radical hate-filled anti-American insurgents must be purged and taken down!
