Former Attorney General William Barr says President Donald Trump’s conduct as a violent mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol was a “betrayal of his office and supporters.”
In a statement to The Associated Press, Barr said Thursday that “orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable.”
Barr was one of Trump’s most loyal and ardent defenders in the Cabinet.

Barr is on Team CCP.
Barr finally showing his true colors.
The former AG didn’t have a problem cashing his paycheck from the taxpayers.
There were a number of Freepers who were adamant that Barr and Durham had this all in hand. Indictments were “imminent”, and every delay was excused as “part of the plan”. Barr was put in by McConnell to ensure that the DOJ and FBI would do nothing to prosecute Democrats, and do nothing to stop election fraud. Haven’t seen the Barr defenders around since November 3rd.
To the establishment failing to bow and scrape to them, keep your mouth shut and believe everything they tell you, is now a crime. To hell with them.
Hmmm...looting, arson and rioting in numerous cities is “mostly peaceful protest”, while a mostly peaceful protest co-opted by a few ANTIFA militants is a mob. Interesting.
All the nation would NOT see the evidence, as the media would not cover it, and Fakebook and Twitter would ban any discussion of it. FOX primetime (Tucker, Sean and Laura) and OAN viewers and adherents of outlets like Free Republic would be the only ones fully informed.
Please don’t watch Fox - including primetime
Fox helped get us to where we are with this stolen election. No conservative should give that network a moment of viewership
Read my tagline
Barr says Trump conduct ‘betrayal’ of presidency.
This coming from a man that has destroyed his credibility with the American people.
“ Barr finally showing his true colors.”
Finally? Barr should have been fired one hour after Epstein was allowed to die in federal custody
In fact, I was outraged by Trumps lack of outrage when Epstein died on Barr’s watch. I would have given Barr a cardboard box and ordered him to fill it with his desk stuff and vacate the building in 20 minutes.
Such are the pronouncements in a One Party State when an Outsider manages to win the Presidency.
Out to lunch. perhaps, but he knew what was going on. Thus his infamous Freudian slip “We have created the greatest voter fraud machine in history.”
What I’ve wondered about is why Trump never learned not to delegate. It works in business with trusted employees but not on the Hill. Each and every appointment was an enemy.
I got flamed by Freepers for calling out Barr when he let Epstein die. They made excuses for Barr - “he can’t be everywhere? he can’t monitor all prisoners? you expect him to follow everything that’s happening in federal facilities?”
Freepers have to stop being sheeple for the GOP. I hope they’re learning
Who wanted to work for Trump given the threats to them and their families if they did choose to work for him.
Backstabbing bastard.
Actually the rally was planned MONTHS ago by women for Trump they have had a bus tour going across the country AND this was planned months before, all Trump did was ask people to attend and make it big!! Trump DID NOT plan this rally he did tell the organizers he would speak there a couple of days before the rally was to happen!!{
“ all Trump did was ask people to attend and make it big!! ”
I know. And that was a mistake. As I posted earlier, he should have discouraged people from coming. Not one MAGA rally in DC has ended peacefully. All have been attacked by the left - with the violence then blamed on MAGA. Trump - and we - didn’t need that on the day Congress was debating the election fraud. This mess was forseeable - I forsaw it and posted against doing this rally. Trump should have foreseen it and publicly urged against it, and put all his focus on the hearings in Congress. Even if violence hadn’t happened the rally accomplished nothing and couldn’t accomplish anything except give media an excuse not to cover the case against the fraud , as it was going to be laid out in Congress
Sit down and shut up, Tubby.
