The Senate must hold states accountable for their presidential elector votes

Posted on 01/06/2021 8:54:32 AM PST by nagant

The Constitution places the onus of election certification upon legislatures and not upon the governors or secretaries of state who certified the contested electors.

Certification is a Constitutionally required affirmative action which none of the affected state legislatures performed. The Constitution does not say that if legislatures fail to overturn state executive certifications then the states' electors are certified. State legislatures must certify electors or their electors don’t exist.

Election fraud in the contested states has been proven. If majorities in these state legislatures have failed to state the obvious then they must be overruled.

The Republican Senate IMHO is going to abdicate their role to protect the will of the people.

It’s a sad day for our republic.

Aerosmith
“Dream On”

Every time that I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by like dusk to dawn

Isn’t that the way?
Everybody’s got their dues in life to pay

Yeah, I know nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know it’s everybody’s sin
You got to lose to know
How to win

Half my life’s in books’ written pages
Live and learn from fools and from sages
You know it’s true
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me if it’s just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away

Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me if it’s just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away

Dream on, dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true
Dream on, dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true

Dream on, dream on, dream on
Dream on, dream on
Dream on, dream on, ah

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me if it’s just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

Sing with me, sing for the year
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me if it’s just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away

It’s not just the Senate. It’s the entire state Legislatures and the entire Congress.

It is incumbent on the states to police their own policies, and since all the states being challenged have Republican legislatures then they should start on that task as soon as possible.

*We don’t overrule the state legislatures on who won the elections in their states.*

AS MY POST STATED, none of the contested elector slates were certified by their states’ legislatures as mandated by the Constuitution. Instead, these certifications came from state executives

“We don’t overrule the state legislatures on who won the elections in their states.”

Sure we do. But we only do it when it benefits the Democrats by ruling against voter ID, purging the rolls, banning non-citizens from voting, and etc.

Please stop posting this idiocy. The Constitution does NOT require state legislatures to certify their electors. It simply says that the electors will be appointed in the manner determined by the legislatures.

If the legislature of California wants to give Gary Coleman or Kim Kardashian the sole discretion to appoint the state’s 55 electors, it has all the authority it needs to do this.

Here is what has to be done.

GET IN THEIR FACES IN PUBLIC!!!!!

Why? BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!

Make their MOFO life as miserable as can be.

Call them every nasty thing that can be thought of. Make it so they CAN NOT campaign in ANY election in the future in public.

For those who have done their best for us and backed our cause. They get the fruits of their labor by our support and encouragements.

In each of the contested states the legislatures’ laws which determine “the manner determined by the state legislatures” were NOT followed. They were undermined by illegal fraudulent votes and by executives who replaced legislation with fiat.

Then THE STATE LEGISLATURES THEMSELVES must file any objections to their electors.

If someone gets caught breaking into your neighbor’s house and then your neighbor refuses to press charges, you have no legal recourse no matter how badly it makes your neighborhood deteriorate.
