Is it too late to save our republic?
My generation believed in the United States. We believed in its respect for the individual, in its Constitution, in its status as the only benign superpower in history. In other words, we believed in American exceptionalism. "Traditional American values are worthy of a passionate defense," said author and TV commentator Monica Crowley. Referring to these values as "the American project," Charles Murray, author of Coming Apart, defined it as the continuing effort "to demonstrate that human beings can be left free as individuals and families to live their lives as they see fit, coming together voluntarily to solve their joint problems." If you boil it down, what makes our society unique in world history is the respect accorded the rights of the individual citizen. The Constitution was written as a restraint on the power of the government to interfere in our lives.
All that seems to be changing. As we move into 2021, to borrow from Shakespeare, something is rotten. It is difficult to pinpoint the origin or the exact nature of America's disintegration. It developed a head of steam when a man who hates this country, Barack Obama, was elected president. For eight years, we watched his concentrated assault on our values. Obama and his fellow Democrats have introduced some new concepts into our vernacular: democratic socialism, identity politics, social justice, diversity, inclusion, political correctness, Critical Race Theory, cancel culture. They were intended for the express purpose of destroying everything that is laudable about America.

As an aside — because it’s not the whole story, to be sure — if we didn’t have such comprehensive social programs, most of the Third Worlders who came to our shores would be more likely to be those who wished to become Americans.

An election is meant to be one day, with people deciding intellectually who to vote for and being personally motivated to go to the polls.
Our elections’ currently corrupted state, where polls are kept open for a month(s) while “Chicago Style Organizers” physically, analytically create votes from areas they are responsible for is not a fair election- even if both sides are doing it which currently they aren’t.
Worse those creating votes, the media, et all will attack any change to this sorry state as “voter repression”. Obama and “Chicago Style Organizing” have corrupted America and are destabilizing the world. Voting laws must be reformed.
Who will be counting the votes in 2022? That side will win.
For years on here and in conversation with friends I have warned about the changing attitudes I’ve witnessed among those White, educated and now between the ages of 30-50. My comments have been repeatedly met with ‘but you don’t know my kids or friends they’re all conservative’ responses. True, I haven’t met every person of that demographic, but I’ve met enough to get a feel for the generational character. I will repeat again what I’ve found. They do not consider themselves Americans in the way my generation and those before me did. They believe in ‘fairness’ as defined by progressives. They willfully embrace the LBGT agenda, are anti-gun, irreligious and quite honestly hostile and embarrassed by their whiteness and any success they have accomplished. They have a very different world view. You can’t have intelligent discussions with them because all their positions are based on emotion. They consider themselves to be smart and educated, but they know nothing and will proudly tell you they don’t need to know anything because they can ‘just Google it’. They have little interest in history, don’t believe in American exceptionalism and proudly and eagerly look forward to a day when ‘countries’ don’t matter. They live and work in a borderless, digital world with imaginary friends on social media. They make lots of money producing nothing tangible while sitting in front of computer screens all day. They are never without their phones which tether them to a world that big tech, the media and progressive politician use to reinforce what they’ve learned since pre school. They are not their grandparents, or even their parents, and many will happily tell you they are eagerly awaiting the time when we are finally gone.
The country is dead because the baby boomers, of which I’m one, were too busy chasing the almighty dollar, playing tennis, watching sports and trying to be friends rather than parents, to raise our kids. We turned them over to the schools and said let us know when there done. The progressives smiled and said thank you. We wrongly assumed that the country we grew up in would last forever without any effort on our part. We have been proven horribly wrong. Our world of ‘Leave It To Beaver’ and ‘Father Knows Best’ has become the world of Cardi B and Antifa and we let it happen.
I have no children, but feel sad for my nieces and nephews and their kids. I believe they are going to realize way too late the world they’ve voted for is not the Utopia they expected. And when they do they will also find out you can’t just hit a button on the iPad and reset back to the way it used to be. This is not 1960. This is a brave new world much closer to 1984 than most want to admit.
Trump is not going g to let Biden take office.
Look at the bright side. You don’t need to stand in line to vote anymore.

Knowing what we know of corruption, fortunately that horse is still in the barn. COS would ask you to believe that this effort would not result in the total change in the Constitution.
I find that level of insanity, to be just that, and in my opinion so should you.

No, it isn’t. First, we have the Socialist Democrat Party that LIVES, EATS and BREATHES ways to destroy America. They’ve made GREAT strides in my lifetime.
Secondly, we have the FECKLESS GOPe jerks that sit by passively and watch the Socialist Democrats do their thing while they nod and line their own pockets with OUR MONEY!
Sure, there are a few that slow it down, but not enough to matter.
That said, we all need to put God first, then our families, then carve out a ‘community’ (whatever that means to you) of like-minded Conservatives and live our lives, disobeying all the stupid laws and edicts the Socialists want us to live by.
Short of WWIII, that some here are praying for, I don’t know what else to do. Voting doesn’t work anymore. :(

Legal? Seriously, these phuckers just stole a Presidential election, avid knows how many other races, destroyed the very Republic by making voting for our representatives an utter fiction...and the “independent” courts sat around and said nothing more than “You have no standing.”
