Waving Goodbye to the America We All Knew and Loved
American Thinker ^ | 6 Jan, 2021 | Ed Brodow

Is it too late to save our republic?

My generation believed in the United States. We believed in its respect for the individual, in its Constitution, in its status as the only benign superpower in history. In other words, we believed in American exceptionalism. "Traditional American values are worthy of a passionate defense," said author and TV commentator Monica Crowley. Referring to these values as "the American project," Charles Murray, author of Coming Apart, defined it as the continuing effort "to demonstrate that human beings can be left free as individuals and families to live their lives as they see fit, coming together voluntarily to solve their joint problems." If you boil it down, what makes our society unique in world history is the respect accorded the rights of the individual citizen. The Constitution was written as a restraint on the power of the government to interfere in our lives.

All that seems to be changing. As we move into 2021, to borrow from Shakespeare, something is rotten. It is difficult to pinpoint the origin or the exact nature of America's disintegration. It developed a head of steam when a man who hates this country, Barack Obama, was elected president. For eight years, we watched his concentrated assault on our values. Obama and his fellow Democrats have introduced some new concepts into our vernacular: democratic socialism, identity politics, social justice, diversity, inclusion, political correctness, Critical Race Theory, cancel culture. They were intended for the express purpose of destroying everything that is laudable about America.

“It is difficult to pinpoint the origin or the exact nature of America’s disintegration”

Not really. It was our ‘Greatest Generation’. The people who lived through the Depression and fought WW2. They STILL had a job to do, which was to tell their kids just how bad people could be, not hide it from them (which most did).

So we got the hippies, and even with their drug use, they were/are VERY SMART and quickly realized that the only path to power was through the voting booth, so they leveraged whatever power they could get that way and it wound up that being in control of the vote counting in our cities was their ticket. They manufactured votes in cities with a small, loyal, core group of Third World types, and used that to flip states, and now have flipped the country.

We could have stopped them early, and nipped it. But we didn’t...didn’t want to upset the Third World types by questioning their commitment to our Republic.

So now it ends...

It is difficult to see how we can get out of the current situation. Perhaps Trump will start a new political party, the Maga party, because the current republican party is only slightly better than the democrats.

Both parties stink!

We send good people there and the system makes them bad. It makes the super rich deep state swamp monsters. Generally in their very first term. We should not be fighting antifa and blm and whatever crazy liberal group. We should be disbanding our federal government ..... with pitchforks in the halls of congress

We had a great run, folks. We were truly blessed to live in the era of a strong, confident and unconquerable America through the Reagan era and to some degree, the Trump years.

The GOP is structurally corrupt and will never reform. It’s a fools errand to think a few fresh faces will change anything in the GOP. They are perfectly happy being in the minority while Dems install a euro style socialist state.

Maybe I’m wrong, and I wait to see what actually rolls out in the next two years, but I don’t think it’s the end of the world.

I remember when Clinton got elected, telling my friends who bad things will get, how the economy will suck, and how our lives would change. I learned something from that experience.

Then Obama, and my anxieties were more subdued this time, but ironically Obama did more to push detrimental policy, life went on for most everyone around me.

Now here is the one problem, for two years, unlike under Clinton, there is no check or balance by any of the branches of government.

I expect a huge backlash in 2022. A major electoral pendulum swing.

The problem is, 2 years is a long time, and unlike 2016 -> 2018 where republicans had congress and the white house and sat on their hands, I don’t predict the same thing to happen now.

It’s time to re-write, even if we are out of power for a few years extra to do it.

“Our children have been specifically targeted for over a century by our pubic schools, news, media, churches and now social media.”

I have been preaching the three evils of society are media, public education and pop culture. There are some exceptions but they enhanced the downfall. Liberals took young minds and warped them. Then continued that through various developments of life.

>I expect a huge backlash in 2022. A major electoral pendulum swing.

I expect there will be 15 million new voters to make sure that doesn’t happen.

I don’t expect Biden/Harris/Schumer/Pelosi to make the same mistake Obama did leaving his flank open by not legalizing and enfranchising all aliens first.

You aren’t going to rebuild anything because you will not have a vote that counts. It is done at the vote booth.

Why is it people are looking to do the same thing over and over and always ending up with the same result?

JFK may have won his Presidency by fraud, but his domestic political view was closer to Ronald Reagan than to his idiot brother (The Swimmer). We can expect no such benign attitude from today’s dumpster.

Instead, just reform voting laws.

It’s militia time.

Time to organize locally and prepare to go where needed.

If Trump cannot suspend the Constitution and arrest the coup leaders, we will not be able to reform voting and get rid of the fraud.

There is ONLY ONE way out going forward: Civil War on all blues / blue counties, etc.

It’s on, or we become slaves.

We have to move fast to get organized and in the field now while we have our firearms still and while we are our strongest.

If we don’t strike soon, we will lose that opportunity of rebellion and be condemned to that dystopian future we deserve.
