A would-be porch pirate ran into some trouble when he was caught in the act, then got caught in a snowbank while trying to flee the scene. All while being heckled by the person he was allegedly trying to rob.
It happened in Mississauga on Monday afternoon when a man looking to lift a package was surprised when the door to the home quickly opened and a resident said either “You’re done” or “You’re dumb” a couple of times. The man fled, getting into his car and quickly reversing. The trouble was he didn’t notice the snowbank he was backing into. His car got stuck and he furiously spun his wheels trying to escape.
The man even tried to clear out the snow under the wheels a few times. All while being both chirped by the resident and also told that police were on their way — which only served to make the man grow more frantic in his attempts to escape.
The whole thing was filmed and a later video released on Instagram by straightouttatha6ixtv showed the arrival of Peel Police in the Churchill Meadows Blvd. and Erin Centre Blvd. area and an arrest being carried out.
For a theft call.
Peel Police told theToronto Sun they attended the scene for a theft call and a 33-year-old Brampton resident was arrested and charged with one count of fraud under $5,000 and one count of theft under $5,000.
They said the man was released on conditions and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.
If he lived in a city like sanfransicko, nothing would have happened to him.
Here in Texas he and his car would be swiss cheese.

There are bad people in this world and I trust that democrat party voter (or the canadian equivilent) suffers some consequence.
