The last time they did that in Michigan they got it wrong and the young lady was still breathing when she got to the morgue.

The end result was not happy for anyone but the hospital, doctor and EMT's are on the hook for millions.

I did 10 years as an EMT. It was drilled into us that only a Dr. can make the call.
