I think calling it a “game” is probably their first mistake.
Really just a focus on destroying the 2nd amendment. Guns are bad, blah blah blah. Not really a focus on all the vagrancy and threatening behavior I have witnessed downtown in the last few years.

They are going to use applicable federal laws. They are putting their foot down.
Meanwhile, Portland mayor Ted Wheeler is stomping his foot.

Mormons are now a minority in Salt Lake city.
Salt Lake city is and has been a shi+hole for at least 30 years, it’s another lost cause to demonrat liberal filth. The only hope is all the liberals kill themselves off as soon as possible.

And my friends laughed when I moved from “safe” SLC to “crime-ridden” WVC. Funny what liberals can do once they’re in power...
Started after the Olympics they held. They over promised and business buffed up. A year later downtown was a ghost town. Everyone we talked to when we spent a few days whined about it.
12 years later they elected Romney, the architect of the Olympics. Idiots.
My guess is a growing number. They recruit heavily at the lower income strata.
Import 3rd world trash into a community and watch what happens. Mumbai Mike is pleased.
Downtown SLC is close to the U of U. Wherever there are Universities there is crime. Also the Mormons welcome the homeless, so in Vegas they give bus tickets to SLC to the homeless and send them up. I don’t go downtown unarmed any more.
Add to this, they have been releasing all the criminals because of Covid. A local cop was telling me about the increased crime from the released prisoners.
I have lived in SLC for the past 17 years (not Mormon).
Crime here was really low until the Mormon Church in its ultimate wisdom decided to rescue gang kids from LA by bringing young homeless gang teens to Salt Lake in order to turn them into good upstanding citizens. This was in the 90s.
Guess how that worked out? Take kids that know the gang and drug business, import them into a city where there is none – they get on the phone call their contacts and presto instant drug and crime problem.
Salt Lake City itself is very liberal, the rest of the state not so much
AND VERY inconvenient demographics of the criminals.
