We have a gourmet Kroger about 25 miles from here with a specialty bar that sells big, mild, sweet garlic cloves marinated in olive oil. We could make a meal out of them. They also sell marinated mushrooms, sweet cherry peppers, and dolmas as well. A feast fit for a king. And it comes with a king’s price tag, too.
do they still do it in a self serve bar or do they box it up now because of Covid?
A friend who flies for American Airlines was sharing one of his favorite foods he looks forward to when overseas. In England he likes the bread with olives baked in. The brits don’t have many examples of fine food, and he offered that the bread with large olives baked in is one of their better offerings. Sounds better than fish and chips.
