Yes, and I’m sure that Rush has been recording more of his thoughts for posterity. Perhaps, today’s guest host will play a message from Rush.
“His guest hosts said he would be back today......”
The ticker on his home page says he’s off today.
His last of 2020.
“I have a fear Rush may not be back.”
I have a fear that at 12:07 pm some day we’ll hear Kathryn’s voice on the radio — and it won’t be good news.
“W.F. Buckley died just before Obama was elected. So did Tim Russert”
So did my dad. It was a blessing that he didn’t have to see Obama happen.
The man is dying. He may never be back, though I want him to continue. He will perform when he can, and we just have to accept that his wit, whimsey and wisdom is not much longer for this world.
The cold hard fact is that he is now about one year since his diagnosis. He has already beat the odds since only 15-19% survive a year after diagnosis.
I imagine he will be back, on and off, probably for the next week or two and then most likely the symptoms will eventually make a 3 hour live broadcast very difficult if not impossible. The fact that he has been able to do what he’s done is astounding and a testament to his strength and his love of what he does.
I wonder if he will designate a ‘final day’ on air or if he will just let his abilities dictate that? I can’t imagine what he or anyone else in that situation must be going through. Prayers
We know his death is coming. I pray his passing is peaceful and pain free.
Yeah, My point was that I thought at the time that he left the door open for it being his last, ever. But I was just partially paying attention since I was also working.
I have a fear Rush may not be back. Maybe he’s saving his strength for Wed.
People do survive this. (I'm months beyond my initial drop dead date, and now just being monitored to see if the cancerous growths return.) Rush sounds very normal to me whenever he does do the show. I wouldn't bury him yet.

Rush has been my hero for decades - when my Dad died of cancer in 2007, the doctors said he had 3-4 months to live, which turned out to be 3 days.
I believe Jan 12th is his birthday...will turn 70.

In Rush’s early years, many would call to ask him to run for office. He refused of course. But Trump is the closest man we could ask for, who so closely mirrors Rush’s fighting spirit.
Looks like all the Leftist Wet Dreams are coming to fruition.
Go back one year ago and imagine if anyone had made the predictions of where we are today.
Prayers for Rush Limbaugh, his Family, his Friends and the survival of our Republic.
Tomorrow could be a very difficult day for America with the two communists stealing the Georgia election and the stock market dropping even further in response. The market could actually crash on Wednesday if Biden is awarded the presidency. At the same time our beloved Rush may be dying. Terrible times.
Keep the faith and never despair. God is ultimately in charge of all this.
When the time comes we will all grieve for Rush and Kathryn, and all of his family. I pray that it is a while, but reality is that cancer is evil, horrid and unpredictable.
